Attention all Google Calendar users! Big changes are coming in January if you are someone that relies on SMS notifications (i.e. text message) alerts from Calendar. Google has announced that it is eliminating this service for users during the first week of January 2019.
If you’ve been utilizing SMS notifications, you’ll be forced to transition to email alerts or you have the option of downloading the Google Calendar app and receiving push notifications from the app on your phone.
How do you feel about this change? If you’re feeling angst over this shift, NextStep is here to help with our IT consulting and support.
